Welcome to the Foy School of Traditional Irish Dance, Des Moines Satellite Location. The Foy School was founded in 1974 in Chicago by Geraldine Foy, TCRG member of: An Coimisiun le Rinci Gaelacha, Irish Dancing Teachers Association of North America, and Irish Dancing Teachers Association of Mid-America. Preliminary Hooley Info

An email went out with links to confirming Hooley Participation and Costume Status.
Please respond BY JAN 22nd.

Tickets
Hooley tix are now on sale! They will be available at classes and workshops.

$10.00 adults
$5.00 child/student (if they need a seat, they need a ticket)

Volunteers
We rely on volunteer support to make this event happen!
Volunteer signups will be at upcoming workshops and classes.
Bonus....Volunteers get a free ticket to the opposite show time!

Practice
Attendance at weekly classes between now and the Hooley is important.
In the next two weeks "spots" for each number will be assigned.
It is important for your dancer to be at class.

ADDITIONAL REHEARSALS
In addition to weekly classes there will be 2 extra practices the week of the Hooley.

Thursday- Everyone at Police Rec in Pleasant Hill
5:30-7:30 ish
First year dancers should be done by 6:30 if they would like to stay and watch that is fine but they will need to be well-behaved :)
Older dancers should expect to stay until things look "ready"

No Need to wear costumes----they will need to have dance shoes and socks
We will run through the 2nd 1/2 of the show first so that the little ones can leave.
